Better late than never

Too many people keep on asking us to make a video, so here it is.
The installer package is an all in one, you don't need to modify any files etc.
All you need is the Sd card and Indiana jones.

Download package here - http://bit.ly/kRYFRk

Hopefully this can be the go to guide for all the noobie noobs out there.

Nice tutorial and great to have all the files in one place.

Much appreciate this

What WodeFlow version is included in the download? I use r12 without issue... If it is not the latest WodeFlow version then it can be downloaded from here: http://code.google.com/p/wodebrew/downloads/list - download, rename to boot.dol and save into sd:\apps\wodeflow

P.s. You mentioned a bug with installing HBC 1.0.7.... That did happen for some peopel BUT only with the first revision of Hackmii Installer 0.7. The release of HackMii 0.7b fixed that bug and I have never had an issue with using 0.7b to install the HBC from a save game hack on any Wii System Menu version

It is great that you have both installers in your video. Those who have wifi can stay on 1.0.8 and those that do not have wifi on their Wii can easily downgrade....

P.s.s. I have made this a sticky :D

Thankyou for this video, it is very helpful.

I understand that up to a 2gb maximum sd card can be used during the installation. I only have a 16gb card, would it work if I formatted its capacity down to 2gb?

I chose to downgrade to HBC1.0.7, for I prefer not to have any Wifi at my Home. Plus, I have a ethernet/usb bridge for my Wii, and it is more releable than Wifi. Only now, if I plug in the network, everytime I launch the HBC, I have a message proning to upgrade to 1.0.8, and since my kids are the main users, I am afraid they would just answer 'yes' and upgrade the HBC witch would make the HBC freeze for I don't have any Wifi. Of course I could fix this by downgrading again to 1.0.7, but it is annoying.
Is there a way to prevent the HBC proning to upgrade even with a network connection available (via ethernet in my case) ?

From a thread on gbatemp:

If you block http://hbc.hackmii.com/ on your router, I'm fairly certain it'll block the updates

Other than that use a forwarder channel.

Besides the video guide is dated, someone should update it to use letterbomb ;).

What Wii system menu version are you on buzzman? 4.3?
Are you using a meta.xml that includes <no_ios_reload/> alongside wodeflow's boot.dol (see here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2765)?
Is your HBC running on IOS58 (check by pressing home in the HBC, top right corner)?
And I presume you set WODE to autoload the CFG iso?

And stealth mode is disabled?

With the information you initially provided, we can categorically answer with "yes, you are missing a step". Any other answer is a pure guess.
